Dancin’Stars COVID-19 Protocol

1. No more than 50 people will occur unless guidelines change.
2. Vaccine passport is required for 12 years of age and older.
3. Masks are recommended (this can change depending on numbers).
4. Hands sanitize your hands prior and after classes.
5. Students will be directed to straight to their classes.
6. Maintain distance from each other (1-2 meters/3 to 6 feet) from each other, including family members. Each studio is marked and each student will need to stay in their own designated box.
7. Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20-30 seconds. You can wash your hands in the kitchen or in the bathroom (No more than one person in bathroom).
8. When you have a cold or flu symptoms including coughing, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat and fatigue, stay home and keep safe from others.
9. Parents/guardian will have to wait outside in the parking lot. There will be no waiting room in the studio.  (Unless they are toddlers but no more than five adults).
10. Washrooms will be stocked with soap and cleaned regularly.
11. There will be hand sanitizer if unable to wash hands with soap and water.
12. Please avoid touching your face to minimize the spreading of the virus.
13. There will be NO touching of dancers or in their choreography.
14. If you are coming in the studio instead of online classes, floors will be marked in 1-2 meters increments on floors where crowds normally form.
15. There will be only one person allowed in the washrooms and two (exercising social distancing) in kitchen.
16. There will be hand sanitizer around the studio.
17. No sharing equipment (ex. barres, mats, and etc.)
18. We encourage parents/students to bring their own gear for personal use (ex. mats, gloves, shin/wrist/ankle guards)
19. Students will be expected to leave the building immediately after classes are finished
20. Bring only the necessary shoes and freshly sanitized water bottles.
21. All youth classes must follow the current Public Health Orders
22. “A musical, theatrical or dance entertainment or performance” is considered an event.
23. Programs for Youth and Children are still permitted. Adult classes are permit until further notice.
