Jessie Au began her dance training at the age of three studying ballet at Jean M. Wong School of Ballet in Hong Kong. Upon moving to BC, she expanded her dance training to include tap, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop. Working as an arts administrator, a dance teacher and fitness instructor, Jessie also performs throughout the Lower Mainland. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Food Nutrition and Health from the University of British Columbia and is currently the Head Coach for the Coquitlam Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics program and dabbles in background and commercial acting. Her performance and choreography experiences have allowed her to collaborate with local artists and musicians, and work with organizations such as the Vancouver Fashion Week, Vancouver International Puppet Festival, Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, United Players of Vancouver, H.R. Macmillan Space Centre and Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
