DANCIN’ STARS ANNUAL DANCE RECITAL INFORMATION 2023

We are pleased to announce this year’s dance recital, “STARSTRUCK”. This is an important and special occasion,  as we are so excited to showcase all the hard work of our instructors and students have made throughout the season! We will also have some special guests joining the show this year.

It is a great chance for you to watch other styles of dance available at the studio. Enjoy a diverse and entertaining show showcasing all ages, levels and genres of dance.

Picture Day/Dress Rehearsal

Pictures will be taken at Dancin’Stars studio.  Students will be escorted to *Studio A* where the photographer will be set up. After their pictures are taken, the students rehearse their dance number in another studio in the building. Please only arrive during your allotted time to take your photos and rehearse!

*** ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR STUDENTS (Important instructions will be given closer to the date i.e.: entering from stage left or right, dancing without the mirror, locating center stage etc. for recital day.  On your contract u agreed that if your child(ren) misses picture day & dress rehearsal that you will be charged $25 per recital/competitive class(es) missed and the competitive students, competitive team group photo.**

 Costumes:

Will be given to your child the week before picture day/dress rehearsal during their dance classes.

• Hair and Makeup Touch-ups: Blanche MacDonald Students/volunteers will be there on rehearsal/picture day and show day at recital to provide touch ups.
• IMPORTANT
  • Students are expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to rehearsal slot in FULL MAKEUP AND COSTUME (including any major hair accessories or other props).
  • Parents are not permitted in the building (strictly enforced).
  • Only Dancin’Stars and Vibrant Photo staff members are permitted in studio during this time.
  • Stay tuned for a detailed schedule in May with the designated time slots for your child’s picture and rehearsal time.
